The festival will be opened by Garry Kasparov. Ministers Mr. Vedran Mornar and Mr. Predrag Matić, mayor of Split Mr. Ivo Baldasar, and European and World Youth champion Mr. Ivan Šarić have announced they will be arriving to the opening ceremony.

SPECIAL PRIZES
The most successful girl chess player between the ages 17-20: 450 kn / 60 €, a trophy, a diploma, and a material prize.
The most successful girl chess player between the ages 13-16: 400 kn / 55 €, a trophy, a diploma, and a material prize.
The most successful girl cadet under 12 years of age: 250 kn / 35 €, a trophy, a diploma, and a material prize.
The most successful girl cadet under 10 years of age: 250 kn / 35 €, a trophy, a diploma, and a material prize.
The most successful under 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 years of age: a diploma and a material prize.
Prizes are not cumulative.
Entry fee: 190 Kn / 25 €
Participants must bring their own chess sets and digital chess clocks
